BIOGRAPHIE – ROBERT LEBLANC
Robert LeBlanc originally from Memramcook, NB has had a fascination for photography since a very young age. A proficient musician by trade, he began to take photography more seriously in the late seventies. Recently he discovered the digital camera and became passionate about the intricacies of close-up photography. In 2010, he attended a course with Maurice Henri which quickly developed into a mentorship opening up a brand new world to Robert instantly bringing more depth and meaning to his work.
Composition comes naturally for Robert, making his work visually striking and intuitive. Having a keen eye for design, he takes inspiration from living in the present and gets into a Zen state of mind while on a site, allowing the visual and emotional connection between himself and his subject to manifest. For Robert, photography is less about the technical aspect and more about feel and about capturing a small moment in time and space and transforming it into a work of art.
Robert believes that by remaining open to whatever presents itself to him, opportunities for great photography will appear. He takes great joy in the excitement of not knowing what’s waiting around the next corner.
Since acquiring his first digital camera in 2010 he began to experiment deeper into the world of macro photography and was immensely inspired. Robert considers himself an up and coming artist. He looks forward to discovering and exploring new techniques that will help him evolve and grow as a photographer in the future.

BIOGRAPHIE – ROBERT LEBLANC
Originaire de Memramcook, au Nouveau-Brunswick, Robert LeBlanc est fasciné par la photographie depuis sa plus tendre enfance. Musicien professionnel accompli, il a commencé à pratiquer la photographie de façon plus sérieuse à la fin des années 1970. Récemment, il a découvert la caméra numérique et ensuite une passion pour les subtilités de la proxiphotographie. En 2010, après avoir assisté à un cours offert par Maurice Henri, il a entamé un projet de mentorat qui lui a ouvert la voie à un tout nouvel univers et lui a immédiatement permis d’approfondir et d’enrichir son œuvre.
La composition lui vient naturellement et confère à ses photos un effet visuel saisissant et une profonde qualité intuitive. Doté d’un sens aigu du design, il trouve son inspiration dans le moment présent et se plonge dans un état de calme et de paix qui favorise un rapprochement visuel et affectif entre son sujet et lui lors de ses séances de photographie. Pour lui, la photographie n’est pas autant un exercice technique qu’une expérience sensorielle et une occasion de saisir le moment pour le transformer en œuvre d’art.
Ouvert à tout ce qui se présente à lui, il est convaincu que des occasions de photographie exceptionnelles se manifesteront. Ne pas savoir ce qui l’attend au prochain tournant : voilà ce qui le réjouit et le fait vibrer!
Après l’acquisition de sa première caméra numérique en 2010, il a commencé à explorer de plus en plus l’univers de la macrophotographie et a été inondé d’une riche inspiration. Il se considère comme artiste prometteur et est impatient de découvrir et d’explorer de nouvelles techniques qui l’aideront à évoluer et à s’épanouir en tant que photographe.
